Nesta's Cold Spell

Journey across the globe with Nesta the Earth Witch, Paisley the cat, and Bird as they embark on an enchanting, wintry adventure to heal our planet. Written and illustrated by Anna Sutton in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, this magical picture book brings eco-friendly storytelling and vibrant artwork together for young readers and families.

A journey on a twinkling star

Soaring through the night skies atop a twinkling blue star, Nesta, Paisley, and Bird marvel at the Earth's breathtaking wonders—deep sapphire oceans, lush rainforests, and towering mountains. Yet as their voyage continues, they witness the scars left by pollution, deforestation, and plastic waste. Heartbroken, the trio realises that magic must be paired with love and care to protect the world we cherish.

Magic at the North Pole

Carried onward to the frost-tipped peaks of the North Pole, Nesta gathers her gentle Earth magic in time for the Winter Solstice. Together with her companions, she casts a breathtaking spell, sending millions of unique, sparkling snowflakes floating to every corner of the Earth. Each snowflake carries a simple, heartfelt whisper for humanity: "Please look after your Earth, however you can!"
